Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Simple5 iOS application ("App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Simple5, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your country), and that you accept these Terms in full. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. License to Use the App

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Simple5 on any Apple device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.
• Use automated tools to interact with the App in a manner that places undue load on any connected third-party service.
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the App or interfere with other users.

4. User Conduct

Simple5 is a personal productivity tool. You are solely responsible for the content of the tasks you create. We do not monitor task content, and we are not responsible for any task data you enter into the App.

5. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with Apple Reminders, Google Tasks, Microsoft To Do, and CalDAV services at your request. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, reliability, or actions of any third-party service.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, graphics, logo, and underlying code, is the exclusive property of the developer and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

The Simple5 name and app icon are proprietary marks. You may not use them in any manner that implies endorsement or affiliation without permission.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. You use the App at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including any loss of task data due to the daily auto-reset feature or device malfunction.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue the App at any time without notice. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
